The design was challenging as there were many business reports and visual graph reports on which operators depended for managing business critical functions. It was decided to optimize the screen layouts to accommodate different visual data patterns and highlighting actionable. Reports were redesigned to show comparative data to simplify decision making for managerial roles.
We improved their user workflow with UX writing to cover all user personas. Initial wireframes were converted into clickable demos to validate and iterate the designs. While converting designs into high fidelity mockups vibrant color palette was chosen to be balanced with grey tones which effectively allowed us to highlight action items in graphs, tables and across the screens.
